The field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering encompasses many exciting technologies such as microelectronics, computer systems, mobile communications, …, which have been among the fastest growing and most challenging technologies that enable the development of the modern information-based society. Dedicated teaching staff, many who are experts in their particular fields, supports the students. The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was started in the year 2002. It is the oldest and most active department of the College. The department has spacious laboratories and state-of-the-art equipment for laboratories. The laboratories such as Electron devices, Electronic circuit, Communication, Microprocessor and Interfacing, Digital Signal Processing, Analog and Digital integrated Circuits, Digital and fiber optic communication etc. The U.G Programme(B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineering) was accredited by National Board of Accreditation(NBA) AICTE-New Delhi for a period of 3 years.
Vision: Electronics and Communication Engineering department provides a Programme of the highest quality to produce creative Technocrats, those can address the challenges of the new century and excel at an International level in order to enhance global prosperity by fostering technological world-wide.
Mission: With this vision, the mission of the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department is to provide its Students with a knowledge required for high quality engineering process of creating, developing, integrating, sharing and applying knowledge about electronics and information technologies which helps to equip its Students with a broad intellectual spectrum in order to prepare them for diverse and competitive career paths. |
